The centuries-old preparation methods all boil down to 3 simple methods. Each of these methods is used based on the ingredient nature of your Ayurvedic tea blend.
For Leaf and Floral-based Blends
Start by placing one pyramid tea bag into your mug, pour around 250ml of freshly boiled water, cover the mug, and leave for 7- 10 minutes. Ideal for leaf-based Ayurvedic teas like Pure Moringa Tea by Ceyara Tea.
For Root/Seed Based Blends
Place the pyramid tea bag directly in a saucepan and add around 300ml of cold water. Then, bring it to a boil, lower the heat, and keep it at this low temperature for about 8 - 10 minutes. Finally, remove the bag and serve as it is. This method is ideal for Ginger, fennel associated Ayurvedic blends.
Combinations of different ingredients
If you come across our hybrid blends which may contain combinations of leaves, roots, and seeds, you can follow hybrid brewing methods for the optimal flavour and benefits of them. For example, if it is a tea blend with both roots and leaves like Ginger and moringas, follow the roots/seeds method with practices like covering the vessel at the end.
